MULTIMEDIA BROADCAST
Although most of my time in my broadcast class is spent editing, I have also given anchoring a couple of tries. Mixing up my job sometimes helps keep me on my toes and gives me a chance to see journalism from another angle. Here are some episodes of Bruin News Now where I have anchored news:
This was my first time ever anchoring, and I feel like I have grown a lot as a journalist.
My second time anchoring showed much improvement from the last time!
My most recent time anchoring was a few weeks ago. I anchored our weekly midweek update: The Midweek "Paws." You can see how much my on camera performance has improved since the first time I anchored in 2021.
